New Orleans, Louisiana —The Action Center To End World Hunger will receive a Platinum Rating from the U.S. Green Building Council, in part, for its use of sustainable goods and materials as part of its construction. Roger Burks, Mercy Corps' Senior Web Writer, recently visited a deconstruction site in New Orleans, where recycled materials are being prepared for use in the Action Center.
